The Government of India launched the JANANI digital platform to improve tracking and delivery of maternal and child healthcare services nationwide.

What is the News?

The platform was unveiled during the “National Summit on Innovation and Inclusivity — Best Practices Shaping India’s Health Future.” JANANI is a service‑oriented digital platform that comprehensively monitors and maintains longitudinal digital health records of women across the continuum of care — from pregnancy through delivery, postnatal recovery, newborn care, home‑based young child care, and family planning services.
