Odisha Sweeps Top National Honours at PM Surya Ghar Excellence Awards

Coinciding with World Environment Day today, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) conferred the prestigious PM Surya Ghar Excellence Awards in New Delhi. Highlighting its massive push toward green energy, Odisha delivered a clean sweep across major categories, bagging 1st place for maximum consumer applications, 1st place for maximum rooftop solar installations, and 1st place for maximum DISCOM inspections. The awards, presented by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, recognize the state's successful rollout of the Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA) model and dedicated state budgetary support that made clean energy easily accessible to lakhs of household consumers across Odisha.
